Satispay announced a partnership with Stripe to enhance online payment experience in Italy

Satispay, Italy's leading independent mobile payment network, has announced a strategic partnership with financial infrastructure platform Stripe. This collaboration aims to eliminate barriers in the online shopping experience for Italian merchants and consumers. With over 4.8 million users in Italy, Luxembourg, and France, Satispay offers a seamless and secure payment option through its app. Selected Italian online merchants using Stripe will now be able to accept Satispay payments, joining a growing community of over 350,000 retailers already using the service.

This partnership not only enhances the digital payment experience but also solidifies Satispay's position as a key player in Italy's payment network. Satispay's simplicity and transparency allow users to link their bank accounts with an IBAN to send or receive money, eliminating the need for card networks. Stefano De Lollis, Satispay's Online Business Development Director, highlighted that the partnership with Stripe is a significant milestone in expanding their payment acceptance network while maintaining the effortless and secure experience Satispay users expect.
