Roku launches a self-service advertising platform integrated with Shopify


Roku has launched the Roku Ads Manager, a self-service platform for buying connected TV (CTV) ads, tailored for Shopify merchants. This innovative solution allows merchants to create shoppable ads, enabling consumers to checkout directly on their screen using the Roku remote. According to Mani Fazeli, VP of Product at Shopify, this partnership aims to expand Shopify’s Checkout feature and offer a new sales channel for merchants.


Roku Ads Manager is designed to enhance both brand awareness and bottom-of-funnel engagement, offering insights, improved efficiency, and competitive pricing without third-party fees. It also includes interactive video overlays, allowing shoppers to send themselves text messages during ads. Louqman Parampath, VP of Product Management at Roku, highlighted that this tool meets the needs of growth marketers by providing a seamless CTV ad-buying experience and unique features such as native shoppable campaigns with Shopify.
