Revolut partners with Visa for instant card transfers

Revolut Business customers can now enjoy instant card transfers worldwide following a new partnership with Visa. This new feature addresses the common issue of long wait times for international transfers, which often required specific information like IBAN and BIC. Powered by Visa Direct, Revolut's service allows businesses to send money securely and in real-time, with funds arriving within 30 minutes or less using only a card number. This cost-effective solution supports over 50 currencies and is available in 78 countries.

Visa's senior vice president, Mark Jamison, expressed confidence in Visa Direct's global reach and reliability, while James Gibson, general manager at Revolut Business, highlighted the benefits of instant, secure payments for businesses globally. This partnership builds on their existing collaboration, including peer-to-peer payments and the upcoming launch of Visa virtual cards for the b2b travel sector.
