D&H Distributing has announced a significant investment in the future of AI technology by launching a comprehensive AI PC sales program. The initiative includes equipping the company's 800-person sales and support team with cutting-edge AI PCs, coupled with extensive training from leading AI PC vendors and suppliers such as HP, Dell, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface, MSI, AMD, Intel, and Qualcomm.
The objective is to arm D&H's partners with the necessary tools and knowledge to drive substantial business productivity gains for customers. This program, which aims to train and educate 5,000 partners by the fall, marks a strategic move to capitalize on the emerging AI PC market, forecasting a "renaissance of opportunity" over the next three years spurred by major upgrades cycles for businesses. D&H is also exploring an AI demo program for partners, emphasizing the importance of fluency in AI technology to effectively communicate its benefits to end users.
The initiative is part of D&H's ongoing commitment to being "100 percent" partner-focused, reinforcing its position in the market by offering over $400 million in downstream credit for partners, the largest credit increase in the company's history.
